As many of you know, I’m expanding my mindfulness teacher skillset. As part of this commitment, I am currently participating in an 18-month Mindfulness Teacher Training with Brussels Mindfulness here in Belgium. It has been a wonderful experience so far!
While much of my work over the past few years has focused on mindful communication and leadership, in the past few months, I’ve loved learning more about how to guide meditations. I am happy to begin sharing some of those here with you all.
This guided meditation is about 14 minutes long. It can be done seated, standing or lying down. The meditation focuses on helping you ground physically to the present moment and bring your attention to the breath.
A Guided Meditation for Grounding in the Moment
For more guided meditations I highly recommend the Insight Timer app and anything from Jon Kabat-Zinn, Sharon Salzberg or Tara Brach. If you’re new to mindfulness practice, you can read more about my take on mindfulness here and here.
